Grace.

i realized that there isn't a definite answer if i were to ask you if i should follow my heart, or use my head. There isn't a right or wrong as to which would be the right or wrong thing to do. & that sucks because once we're in that scenario? It means i have to make a decision between those two. & making a decision is always the harder thing to do.
i realized how easy it is for people to speculate, because i honestly think i'm guilty of doing that too. i realized how natural it is for human instinct to take over & make us do things we really should be patient to act upon, & make us jump to conclusions, & make us feel a certain way although it isn't exactly that certain way things are. In that same way- it's easy as pie for us to look at a scene & assume automatically. Write out our own version of someone else's story in our heads. When it comes down to the actor/actress then deciding which role he/she should take up though- it's alot harder than that.
,
Do you take up the role in the chic flick where everything ends up nice & peachy, because all your co-actors & actresses surrounding are major stars as it is already? They seem flawless, & good, & have won all the major movie titles you could ever think of even before hitting 25. The ending is cliché, but it is not unfamiliar & who doesn't exactly like happy endings.
Or do you take a risk- & take up the role in the thriller with the script that has somehow captured your heart. Where your co-actor is a new talent with great potential, yet not many have heard & know of him just yet. Which is what makes it all the more slippery to step into because it could lead to something beyond both of your imaginations, yet could also end up a disappointment to the crowds if it does not meet up to their high expectations.

,
Follow your heart. Use your head. Follow your heart, but use your head. Use your head, but follow your heart.
A consolation though- is that either role you choose, your profession for the time being until something changes drastically, is still going to be an actress. Either role you decide to pick, your Director who's got you on His contract & you trust with to ensure you don't end up out of a job- He's promised you to always keep you on His list with the profession of; actress.
& personally, that being an actress to me is something quite special.
